I'm new at this. I'm getting good coverage with my spray gun. I've started out with Jamaica Me Tan Ocho Rio.
I exfoliated an hour or two before I sprayed. I did two light coats to ensure I didn't miss any spots. I guess with experience I could do one heavier coat. Is the two light coats a bad idea?
How quick after exfoliating should I spray? Is 4-5 hours too long? Or just that day?
If using a product like Ocho Rio, should a second coat the following day produce any darker? When I did this...it seems like most of it washed off (shower 12 hours later). I didn't see this the first day. Does that mean I got too much solution on?
How long after I spray should I feel sticky?

Thanks

I personally always give two light coats or at least one medium coat with a second coat that is very very light. I do this with all the soltions I have ever used, except REACT and VANI-T, since they are really one coat solutions.

I have had clients exfoliate up to 24 hours before the spray, and as long as there isn't any body oil, moisturizer residue (that can be eliminated with a prep spray)it always turns out great.

WIth most products you will always feel a little stickiness until you shower. Powdering can relieve much of it. If you want to try a soltuion that has the least stickiness that I have ever found, try AYU and/or Vani-T. I use 2 coats with AYU and only one coat with Vani-T.

After one showers and exfoliates you need be completely dry...then if it's a first time spray I would apply a coat of Primer....then the sunless solution ...primer makes is stick better and helps it to dry faster...I also will not use anything but Norvell...No orange...Period!!! Good Luck!! Have A Great Day!!!

I've only been in the business for six months.I,ve used several different products and with each one i have always used two coats on a person. It helps to make sure you covered the whole body and didnt miss any spots.I always dry my clients and then powder them after they are dry.I am still trying to find that perfect product.Any suggestions?

I have been using Breeze #5 & #9 , never sticky and lasts up to 10 days as my clients tell me.

Powder them, what is that and what solutions have you tried ?
