Mystic results/complaints - tanTALK

I've had my mystic for 4 years now and it seems that lately I have had a lot of complaints that customers tans are not as dark or lasting as long as they use to. More so that its not getting as dark. I use it about twice a month, sometimes more and lately I too have noticed it doesnt appear to get as dark. Just wondering if any of you have had this problem and have any suggestions. What is the meter? I noticed that somebody mentioned it needs replaced after about 2 years.

that crazy meter. It's what pumps a specific volume of lotion into the tanning chamber. Once it starts to malfunction, your delivered volume starts to fall, and complaints rise. It's best to be ahead of your complaints by checking it's performance on a reguler basis. Make sure your replacement has the thrust bearing upgrade.

Grab your manual and flip through it to the section on calibrating your meter, or, take a tan yourself and watch the nozzles on commencement of the tan cycle. All three nozzles should deliver together. If you see a delay of more than a couple of seconds at any nozzle, you'll suspect meter trouble. It may not specifically be a failure, but chances are good (bad).
