Adjustments/Settings - Help!!

I tried a new solution over the weekend. Pure Sunless Tahitian Tea. Love the color, but the solution is so thick it is like syrup. I have never seen a solution so thick. We had to hold the gun much closer than normal and could just barely see where we had sprayed. What adjustments can I make to my gun or system to help make it easier to spray this solution ??
