Tinted or Not

Do any of you sunless gurus run Non-Tinted solution?

If so,

What do your customers that are used to Tinted solution think?

Customers form other salons that try your booth and discover that there is no instant color?

What do YOU prefer?...From a marketing stand point, customer satisfaction, personal taste?????

Tinted solution is most popular with consumers in most markets. They typically use this service because they need/want the darkest color they can get in the shortest amount of time. Good luck.

I can see that. However, I would not want to hit the club or a wedding after being sprayed. I think I would shower first, in which case the tint would wash off.

I don't know, I currently do not offer spray tanning. I do think there would be less complaints about streaking and white clothes getting "dirty" if I used a non-tinted solution.

I would not let anyone ever do it the day of their wedding...they should come in a month before...take pictures of them and see how dark they want to get...it washes off your clothes...did we get you when you were here? House?

I thought the all new and improved Cal Tan system air dried you? And they will be wearing shoes, so why not? JC

Hi Dana,

Your unit was awesome, I am meeting with URI soon to place my orders. You sold me, way better than Mystic. I am just wondering about non-tinted solutions, since the tint washes off the first time you shower. After all it is the DHA that gives the real color. Does the unit allow two solutions to choses from (not level of spray) but rather a choice of tinted or non-tinted per customer request?

I does dry you, but you will still have some rub off on your clothes. My girlfiend and I had on white shirts to check out the aftermath. I give the new Cal-Tan unit a B in this area, the Mystic a C+

No Spray booth is 100% there, maybe in a few years, however for now the Cal-Tan unit is the best.

I use Cal Tan's premium solution in my Mystic. I offer both clear and tinted solution. The clear solution is by far the most popular. Out of 100 sprays 98 will use the clear, literally, this is no exageration!
