I have tried many sunless tanning booths in the past, both Mystic Tan and Magic Tan. I stumbled across a a salon in Pittsburgh--while out to grab a bite to eat, I noticed that they had a new spray booth that I have not seen before--I tried it and absolutely loved it. Three days later and I still had a perfect color, unlike the others. In fact my tan even looked better the second day. No streaking, running, and ultimately no orange look! I am a firm believer...I will never try anything else!!!!

MMESZAROS
I am opening a new salon and I'm also interested in this new machine. Could you possibly give me the name of the salon so that I can see it for myself? I will not be able to go to Vegas this year and I see alot of there ads in the magazines, but would like to test it first without a sales person around. |

It would seem that the color results of any spray tan is from the solution (DHA) being used, not the machine. A machine can only spray on the solution - good or bad. Steaking can be caused by the machine as well streaks. Orange is caused by the solution being used or by the machine spraying on way too much DHA (not calibrated correctly). Every machine that man makes is subject to failure at some point. Operator error can cause big problems too. IMO, it all comes down to service after the sale.

First of all the ITS booth looks better than most otherss on the market. The accent lighting makes it stand out and get noticed by customers who ask...Whats that?
As far as the features on it, it has the down draft ventilation which pulls excess mist out of the booth making it easier to breath in than others out there. It also has a "snorkel" system which is basically a blower that blows air in your face. This also makes it much easier to breath with less inhalation. I tried Mystic, Magic, and Sunspritz before choosing the ITS booth. In my opinion here is how I rated the results. ITS and Magic were very similiar results....both were very good Mystic would be next with average results although in fairness it was at a competitors salon and the solution they are using may not be very good. It is also one of the older original Mystics. SunSpritz was horrible, just like someone poured a bucket of solution on you....very bad results, the streaking was awful. So for me it was a choice between Magic and ITS since both provided good results. It really was an easy decision considering the ITS booth looks better and does have a few unique features. The ITS booth was also sevel thousands less than Magic. The only question was the service and support of ITS considering they are a new company. I can tell you so far they have been great to work with and assisted me with anything I needed. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: JeffinKC on 2005-04-28 13:01 ] |

Has anyone heard anything regarding that person in WV who allegadly had his first ITS machine which didn't work replaced with a second which didn't work either? If I remember the post, which was deleted by a mod, he tried to get his money back and couldn't. Sure would be nice to hear from that person himself as to how his problems were solved by ITS or if they ever were solved or was the story true or false.

Clubtan1, and Everyone:
The story you had read about is only half true, as the person who originally posted the message is an ex-employee. Unfortunately, it was this ex-employee who had contributed to the difficulty of the situation in WV. To answer your question: yes, we did have a small issue with the machine which occurred during the install (and can be attributed to human error); however, we quickly remedied the situation, and replaced it with a brand new KMT-1000 to ensure she (the WV salon owner) had it up and running for her customers who wanted their sunless tans. She is very happy with it, and is looking forward to receiving an Acapulco Mist very soon. If anyone has any questions about ITS or the products we manufacture, please feel free to contact ITS anytime by visiting our website at www.itstan.com. We are more than happy to answer any salon owner’s questions about our equipment. |
