Rep Power: 28 | I just did a search on Mystic tan and pregnancy and still have a question. (never had anyone ask me) A old client of mine is pregnant and wants to do Mystic. I advised her to get a note from her doc (to keep on file). From what I read this is pretty common right? Any other precautions she should take? |

You may loose a prospect, but you've gained freedom from potential lawsuite. It does conjure up an effective marketing activity however, and that is to embark on a campaign to educate the local practioneers in regards to the prevelience of the service. DO NOT engage in UV bashing, but do advise as to how your operation is better than the others in regards to the spray on component. 'On top of mind' with influential members of your community will have benefits. |

Rep Power: 28 | She has been tanning here since day one and is an educated responsible woman. I am sure I am not going to lose her, she values my knowledge and expertise. I have read in the past that it wasn't an issue to have pregnant women use Mystic. Just being cautious. I know most places are about the quick buck and would be quick to do it. I just wanted to make sure. |

Rep Power: 24 | It really all depends on how far along she is....if she is ready or close to delivering then it could be a real problem, such as the baby will not want to or will reject breast feeding due to the solution , I think that there was a topic about this not too long ago. |

Rep Power: 21 | I have 3 ladies who are pregnant. 2 are still in their first trimester and the third only in her second. When they asked if it was alright to use the Mystic I also asked them to speak with their doctor. I explained to them that yes it may be alright for some women but I do not know your health history to say yes. Your doctor will be the best judge and I tell them a phone call will only take a few minutes to ensure their safety along with the baby's. The three of them agreed that it would be best to ask their doctor and ironically the 3 of them also brought in a doctors note to ease my mind. If you are honest with them I do not see hwo you would lose a customer if anything they would be greatful that you are looking out for their best interest. |

Rep Power: 0 | Intresting question my sister is expecting and I called the company that we get our beds from and tanning supplies and also e-mailed Smart tan and they told me that the Mystic Tan would not harm a expecting mother or the baby ! My sister needs a bit of colour and tans normally when she's not pregnant. Was I given the wrong info. because they told me there was no reason she couldn't use it ??????? |
