Hi Everyone,

I've had a whole bunch of my solution turn green!! So, is it best to keep it refridgerated? I don't really have a "Cool dark" Place to keep as i have to keep the room warm for my clients!! I use Biddiscombe solution and this has never happened to me before.
Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

The solution will turn green because it has been exposed to air.

It could be mold also, but as long as there is no growth, it is still good.

I talked to Biddiscombe last week and they are aware of the problem. You might want to chat with them

I don't think it's been exposed to air as it hadn't even been opened yet, it still had the seal on it......i have had it though for about 3 months without opening it, so maybe because it was stored in a warm room? I shall call Biddiscombe though..

I maintain many 5 gallon containers of solution at room temperature without a problem. It is only after they are opened or expsoed to air that the color changes. Make sure there is not an air leak in the container.

the reason it turned green is due to the chemical compostion of the product broke down. Sometimes there is an interaction with chemicals that forces the solution not to bind properly. If it turns green return it for a refund. As long as it isn't like 2 years old or something.

the solution turned green because the chemical composition of the product broke down. If they changed their formula or added a chemical that reacted negatively to the DHA that is the result.
