Rep Power: 23 | I am interested in getting a booth, I am just to busy to custom airbrush . I was wondering if anyone knew any booths on the market that DO NOT require a drain? Not only would it be expensive, but My landlord will not allow me to put a drain in my space, and I dont blame him. I thought I saw one advertised one time that actually had a hose or something and it ran into an external source, such as a bucket or something? Maybe I'm dreaming?! Help me out if you know anything. How did the rest of you leasers get a drain in? Did your space already have one or did you install it? How much did it cost!? How did you convince your landlord? I am in a high-end building that is very pricey. I could be replaced by someone who did not need such things! |

Rep Power: 21 | For the purpose of cleaning and sanitizing a booth, you need to have a water source to the maching. Otherwise you will be cleaning it by hand. Since most booths use a misting action, you will need a way to exhaust or else you will have the solution all over the salon. Celebrity Tan booths can be attached to an apartment dryer vent to exhaust the mist. The cleaning water can also be pumped into the 5 gallon plastic container that the solution comes in. However, you will still need to have a water source to the booth as it is self-cleaning and sanitizing. A hose from the plumbing from the sink will be sufficient for this purpose. It is east to "tee" off from the source to the booth. |

Rep Power: 0 | A toilet may not indicate access to a drain, particulary if you are on slab. You should however have several options. If you have a sink, you'll likely have drain and supply access. If not, you should have those services passing through, or in close proximity. If you consider the Mystic, it has a pump that will deliver it's washdown to a remote drain. If you consider the others you may or may not have to add a seperate sump pump. Considering the overall expense, your water and drain services will be one of the least. As a tanning salon, you should make sure your facilities provide at least a washroom. |
