In my experience, 3 things impact the quality of a spray tan :
1. The equipment itself and it's delivery system
2. The solution used
3. The training/education given to the client in how to do it properly to get the best results including use of barrier creams, proper stance, toweling procedures, etc.

I've been using the Mystic for almost a year, with the Premium Bronzer Mystic Tan solution only. No orange for me or my clients when step 3 is followed correctly. However, I do notice that in the winter months, I think the Level 1 looks more "natural" than the Level 2 I normally use in the summer.

I agree with you Sally on points 1 & 3. My point #2 would be the clients' physical disposition. I'll reiterate my thoughts on that. I believe the DHA imparted color is identical to a 'litmus' test. It tells alot about the clients physical self. Unfortunately, it's beyond our control, and plays a big role in the delivery of the service.

I am keen to purchase Magic but I am concerned about the lawsuits from Laughlin. I keep reading about salon owners being sued along with the big boys. Any one any experience of this?

from your link;

Quote:Dr. Laughlin, in a recent press release, called his pro-active request for re-examination "bold and strategic". [b]Yet currently all of Dr. Laughlin's claims in the "333" patent have been rejected by the patent office. Does that sound "strategic"?[\b]

Why would someone post incorrect information on their site, particularly when levied penalties have been excedingly high?
