Sunless is a new service and adding it to your salon will increase your income in any market....IF you know how to market and advertise it. I believe in the past it was hard to see an ROI on $30k plus equipment. Now that you can get a quality booth for well under 20k you will see a return much faster than before.


It has been established all over the country....and in Canada, that there is a demand for this service. You just have to know how to market it.

I think the common thread in this post is "Know Your Local Market First" before you decide on anything. If one decides on a spray tan booth, it appears there's a whole bunch of new entries to the market. But like most things in our society, some will go away and some will stay. Some are better than others. The field is getting crowded with "we have the best machine" and "our bells are better than their whistles". Make your best decission based on all the information you can gather and then, step up to the table and roll the dice.
