Most beauty supply stores carry little wipes made by St. Tropez to remove self tanner. You can by a pack of 4 (I think, don't quote me there!) for around $4. A Godsend to the nervous first-time mister...and to those of us burdened with dryer skin on our hands that never can get that darn solution to stop our knuckles from looking like you've been digging around the inside of a cheetos bag.

You are all backwards. Instead of trying to remove it, use the "touch-up" and smooth out those rough spots. The hads got messed up because they were not smoothed out (I like to call it "buffed"). When that happens, you get the folds looking like painted stripes. Every company (Magic, Mystic, Mist-on, Celebrity Tan) manufactures their own products and one of these should be a touch-up spray. Use it properly and you'll have happy customers.
Cold spray? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm To bad most other companies do not heat their solutions...... |

We have a touch-up solution in our rooms, but most people never use it. (at least they say they didn't if they call asking how to get mist-on off their hands, feet, etc). Ours is a 3-step process....pre-tan for dry areas, barrier cream, and touch-up. When done correctly, it works really well. I have only done the mist 2 times myself...just so I could see what works and what doesn't so if they asked me a question, I could answer from personal experience, not just hearsay. Color always looks good, but I guess it takes more than 2 times in 2 years to get a system down for the hands and feet!!!! lol

True. You have to get into the booth more than occasionally. However the difference between us is I do the touch up of the hands and feet for the customer. The staff is more experienced in using the solution. If the customer messed up with the procedure, in the first place, I do not want them to mess up the repair and then blame us.

Lol!!
I have a hard time getting people to push the start button on my standup, imagine trying to instruct them on how to properly use a booth. Imagine if that booth were a Mystic, about face when the light flashes and the things beps and the voice tells you to? ~burble burble~ |

ssuper...you apparently answered your own question. I gotta hand it to you. You did that very well. LOL......
I think that in this case, the young ladybug was either not properly instructed of, as I find with the youth today, did not listen to all of the instructions. It does occur, but it is the responsibility of the salon to make sure that the customer is happy. Now, If this person tanned in Canada, we know it was not at Neon's. |
