Does it leave some people orange?

I've never been in a spray booth, but I've been talking to people that have or know someone who has & they said they didn't like it because they looked orange. This was a Mystic. Does it depend on the solution or the person? I couldn't imagine them being THAT popular if everyone came out orange! So what's the truth?

Sometimes it the solution, sometimes it's the person or a combination of both. The only way to find out is to gamble and try it yourself.

chemicals in sunless tanners react differently with each and every individuals skin, i tured a lovely shade of tangerine, while my friend looked like she just got back from vacation

So the majority of people like it & come back for more. Surely if you turn orange, you would be reluctant to do it again.

Majority? That's opinion ONLY. In areas like the south where people have naturally tan skin the self tanner will work MUCH better than in an area where the people are cave dwellers. NOTHING applied to PALE WHITE is gunna look good.

For once, Engfant, I have to agree with you. The first application of sunless to a "cave dweller" will not look as good as the 3rd application.

Sunless tanning is alot like bed tanning. You have to build up the tan. It may only take 3 applications of sunless within a 2 week period, but in most cases that is all for most "cave dwellers" to reach their "look". After that it is only a weekly "maintenance" dose of sunless to keep that "look".

It is a little more than bed tanning, but it is the convenience of not having to lay in a bed for 20 minutes at a time and over a course of several days to weeks to reach the desired "look". Then there is the "after I reached the look" maintenance. In a booth, it is once a week. In a bed it is still several times a week for 20 minutes at a time.

20 relaxing minutes building up your immunity to the intense tropical sun before a winter vacation doesn't sound that bad to me? Am I nuts?
