Rep Power: 21 | I had a client who came to me after her Health Tan application. It looked horrible, she was mortified because she is a larger client who could not rub it in completly and had to ask the girls to help her. The way she looked when she came in I will stick to my Mystic. I just do not see how it is possible for it to last as long as they claim considering you cannot change the way your skin naturally exfoliates. If it does last, how healthy is it for it to possibly be absorbed so deep into the skin to continue to remain unchanged? Feeling like you just got splattered with mud? Ohhh thats a great point of sales! |

Rep Power: 21 | neon love the new item under your nick!!! You know I think we are missing some profit potential, considering it is a substance similar to mud perhaps neon you could get the canadian bikini team to come and mud wrestle. Wow think of the marketing capabilities with that one. They are endless |

Rep Power: 0 | The Healthtan unit dispenses a non-toxic mist spray which coats your body with alot of Vitamins. antioxidants, Minerals and other elements which makes your skin soft and youthful looking. It should not feel like mud being sprayed on you if it is working properly. My customers rave about the natural color and the way it absorbs a few layers deep on your skin. It lasts 10-14 days unlike most other spray tans which fade after 5 days. Please do your research on this unit and find out what the 3M's (Magic,Mystic,Mist-On) are doing to meet FDA regulations. |

Rep Power: 0 | Mud, slime, algae (ha!)... I truly don't care what it looks or feels like if there is a market for it, why not offer it?! :^) If I owned an auto dealership targeting young purchasers and those in middle class suburbia, would I refuse to sell trucks because personally I like to drive a sport wagon? If I were in business to capture as much of the auto purchases as possible in that area, then I would offer trucks even if I personally do not like to drive them or see the value in owning one for the 2 times per year I need to use one... Not seeing the value in it personally, does not mean there is not a market or a demand for an item... Will this be the unit for me? I don't know yet, there are a few I'd like to see in Vegas first... On a side note- in my experience with this particular unit, I said that the solution LOOKS like mud has been splattered on the person. It did not FEEL like mud nor did I get 10- 14 days of color. |

Rep Power: 29 | "The solution sprays on wet and takes only a few seconds, it does not mist and there are no vapors- it is completely different than a Mystic or Magic unit. It looks like you have been splashed with mud when you exit the unit (I actually laughed when I looked in the mirror), you do have to rub the solution over yourself and then towel off. I could see exactly where the solution was and was not- I had NO missed areas. I was not sticky after using the machine and there was no overwhelming odor of " sunless solution " (we all know that smell... ick!). " This had GOT to be a joke. HAS TO BE. LOOKS LIKE MUD eh? ARE YOU GUMBI? YOUHAVE TO RUB IT IN? Boy, that's automation for ya. |

Rep Power: 0 | Donkey Dear, YOU have got to be kidding... the funniest part about it ALL is that there is a market for this, a fairly big one right now... I am laughing in disbelief just as hard as you are- "Someone's going to pay me to go stand in a booth, have solution sprayed on them, they will rub it in (can't even blame it on the machine if there are missed spots! HA!) and then they leave... and do it again in a week or two?" All I can say is, if clients want it, will pay you well for it and they are happy... how can you say NO? Instead of laughing AT those that find value in this service, laugh WITH them while they are paying YOU for a service that THEY want... whatever gets 'em in the door. Sunless, Aroma Therapy, TVs on the beds...? You've got to give them what they want in order to get what you want ($ & satisfied clients= more $ and satisfied clients= happy owner...). Again, I do not like sunless spray tanning personally, but why give the competition a chance to hook your tanning clientele that may "just try it" at another salon... I know you (and muddy mud skipper) do not like the spray tan idea, but have you asked your clients if they have tried any sunless booths or even have interest in them? If you clients don't want them then it would be a waste of your $, but if they do, it is a waste of your potential profits to not check into one that would suit your clientele. |

Rep Power: 29 | hey sis, NEWS FLASH. NO ONE WANTS THAT CRAP ON THEM IN MY AREA. We don't go for that. The few fools that THINK they are doing themselves a favor by going sunless ALMOST ALWAYS RUN FROM IT after seeing how HORRIBLE it looks. My customers all have this thing called WORK they need to go to and sitting around with a thumb in the bum waiting for this mud to set in may be fine for the redneck trailerpark folk, but not for the busy hard working human. We have other things to worry about then some streaky ghetto crap. |

Rep Power: 0 | Donk, i am not trying to push it on you or justify it in your area, I have never been where the donkeys roam free... if your customers have said "I don't want streaky ghetto crap on me" then you are right not to purchase streaky ghetto crap- but why so cranky with those whose clients ask for sunless. Besides, you may be surprised by the number of people who don't want sunless spray services, but MAY just want to sit around with their thumbs up their bums packed in mud... maybe you're on to something with that instead? I actually appreciate your posts and have for some time- you do press folks to think harder about jumping into the next "crazy A$$ fad." With that said, it's time for the cows to go home around here in po'dunkville... gets hard to see once them dirt roads gets dusty from the heards leaving the unemployment lines... can't even hitch a ride 'round here- never know where a thumb has been, if you know what i mean...so, I'm fittin' to start moseyin' on along. You have yurself a great weekend. |
