It's stupid to call it "safe" implying(sp?) that the uv beds are "unsafe". When I promote the Mystic I just advertise it uv-free the way you do....nothing wrong with that.

There are no implications made. If I did that I would also be cutting my own throat. I do both, UV and UV Free. I guess it is in how you read between the lines. I was not intentionally trying to put anything there. I understand that if you are constantly hearing the bashings, then you automatically look for the slurs. Not my intention. I do not use the word "Safe" in my local advertising for the salon, and Celebrity Tan does not condone that type of slander either.

Our advertising policies are meant to be compatable with all types of salons. How else can we expect to stay in business. If I expect to sell you a spray-on booth, it seems to me that I would be stupid to bash your business. DUH !!!!!

So, what booths do you all have and what solutions do you use? Just curious about what is being used out there. I personally have never tried a spray booth. I really dislike the smell of DHA and can't imagine how you would smell afterwards. Also, how long before you can shower?

SB - I use and sell the Celebrity Tab booth. You can lok us up at celebritytan.com. We have our own solotions, lotions and accessories (as do most manufactures). Our customers are in the booth for 10 seconds and come our almost dry. The DHA smell lasts about 5 minutes (of course that could just be my nose). The must stay as dry as possible for 4 hours. We use a bronzer to give them that "instant Tan" look.

Then you cannot knock it until you've tried it. I know you said you had a bad experience, but that was not our booth. At least don't mix all booths in one bunch. That isn't fair nor truthful.

In reality, I don't believe it's the boothes that are in question but rather the solutions themselves. (P.S. Every maker and seller of everything thinks theirs is the best.)

Darn, Now you went and did it!!! I finally found something that I have to agree with you. The solution is the key. Not knowing what the others are using in their solutions, I refuse to get into that "Who's best" agruement, however, as far as booths, I can say that our's is better than most. Keep in mind I said "MOST". Everything being equal, I will admit to an equally built booth or even a better built booth when they start using quality materials. (notice how I'm avoiding names? No spam here).
