Rep Power: 23 | Careful kiddies..... 10 Asthma attacks from 1 location would lead me to beleive that the SOLUTION in combination of lack of filters or clogged exhaust is the reason. I had a rather severe allergic reaction after my first Mystic Tan.... but I am prone to allergies and had childhood asthma.... this was long before any 'safety precautions' for filtration were available. Not all solutions are created equal..... not all maintainence on machines are done properly...... ANY inhaled chemical can cause an irritation or indeed, severe asthma. And forgive me for p*ssing off some of you ~ but in my lifetime, I have yet to see a salon thats MAIN income is from Hair give much of a sh*t about the sunless or UV tanning services. Ramcat ~ been seeing you pouncing and spamming all over the globe ~ but I will caution YOU to be very careful with your ignorance infused comments about carcinogens.... cause I will be happy to hound your company to the seventh circle of **** ~ while telling the kiddies your slamming our UV services.... I am not kidding. |

Rep Power: 21 | Oh my dear Shelia - Please tell me of the error of my ways. Unless you have as many years in health care as I do, and that was before starting a career in this industry (which I will readily admit I am still learning), please restrain from name calling. Although ignorance is sometimes a bliss. If my mentioning my booth (which is also my company and salon name) offends you, I respectfully ask your forgiveness, but I cannot help it if I am just so darn excited about a product that does what it was meant to do and a company that really backs up what it says. When others talk about the Mystic, Mist-On, SunShower, etc. I don't see you vlasting them... Are we worried that our booth might really be what we say it is? |

Rep Power: 23 | Stuff it pumpkin ~ you are treading on thin ice with someone that has enough 'medical wisdom' to send you back to selling tampons. Others TALK .... they are users and salon owners that purchased units and sell the service. You keep that UV free is non-carcinogenic sh*t to your self.... only the weakest and scared Sunless Providers feel the need to use that scare tactic to gain sales.... I got a $50 on DHA inhalation and absorption will soon be tallying up some health problems... you could have a Derm zipped in the front of your pants and that ain't going to change the future. Like I said ~ Spammers are pieces of sh*t ..... and those that Spam Sunless while making false statements against UV will earn the sh*tstorm I will call down on em.... I fail to see any 'name calling' in my original post ~ however.... I could make the hair on your *** need braiding if you want. |

Rep Power: 22 | Sheila in Minnesota---I'm relatively new to these talk forums and happened upon some of your posts. What I first thought, my first impression of you, was that you really didn't care to listen to anyone but yourself and all you wanted was to pick a fight. But now, I think you do walk the walk and talk the talk. I too have had childhood asthma and allergies. I also did a session in a Magic Tan and also a Mystic booth. Both times I had a little weezing after using these booths. Sheila you rock!!! |

Rep Power: 23 | Ahhhhh ~ ya gotta love it!! I do love a good fight Parrot Head.... especially when it's against misinformation and manipulation ... Plus I am just cranky But since we are talking wheezing ~ most allergies are not 'serious' the first time or 2... like bee stings, it's the 2nd one that you find out you have a problem and the 3rd one can kill ya. Since you have had these issues, I would use every filtration device you can before doing sunless again. Now ~ I'm talking nose and mouth filters Even I have an issue thinking anyone would straddle that nozzle naked {and if they do ~ charge for the entertainment upgrade!} |

Rep Power: 22 | Oh, I'm not going to ever use sunless again. I used it to decide weather or not I wanted to put it into my new salon. I applied loads of barrier creme to my feet and toenails and I had to wait until my nails grew out to get rid of the ORANGE. No thanks, but sunless is not for me. I wouldn't put in a booth, even if someone gave me one. UV all the way!!! |
