Sunless and airbrush????

How many of you have both Sunless (Mystic or others) AND Airbrush tanning for more contouring and personalized service?
I was thinking of adding airbrush in addition to my Mystic. what do you think?

I have quite a few asking for it, but I am not sure if it is worth it.

I think that is a great idea!

What's the difference of offering two types of tanning beds or two different lines of lotion?

I don't think it is a conflict of interest at all.. I just think it is added service we can offer to a discriminating client.

I agree with you dcjjp2...I think it would be an added service...I have often thought about offering airbrush tanning and getting a mystic tanner...but from what I have been reading on the forum...getting a mystic tanner would be a waste of money...If I understand correctly mystic tanners are very expensive and your ROI is not that great...I think airbrush tanning is the way to go...if I am wrong I am sure someone here will correct me...let's here it!!

I already have Mystic and since February I have done now close to 1400 tans.. not too bad. I just think that since we are an upscale studio that it would be a great addition.

Go for it....let me know what you decide on for an airbrush system...I have been trying to find a good one to go with...there are so many companies out there...Makes you want to pull your hair out...

Offering your customers every option in tanning will just make you more desirable than the guy next door. I have a Celebrity Tan booth. We make about $3200 per 5 gal canister. The solution costs $400/5 gal. It a good profit. The booths can be leased for about $25/day or the cost of 1 tan per day. Not too expensive. Look them up at celebritytan.com

Ramcat, Already have Mystic, just looking to enhance what we offer in my studio with the option of personalized airbrushing. Just not sure about the manpower to run that side of it. I will have to hire someone to do it by appointment only I suppose if I decide to go that route.
