Getting sprayed at a video store?

I saw an ad for a video store that has a few tanning beds in it. They are now doing airbrush tanning and they had a coupon for $20/ session.

There is a high end salon in town that has a mystic $25/session

I can't imagine going to a video store to be sprayed and $20. You can't expect high end prices on that when you're the cheapest tanning in town.

I picture a woman standing there in her bra and panties w/ a pimply faced teenage boy spraying her and giggling.

It's moves like that that are making this industry harder to take seriously. Both UV and Sunless. It's tacky!

I know. Makes it seem like any idiot can have a tanning business. ALL of our movie stores down here have tanning beds. One customer came in one day and said they were badmouthin my salon. Said we spent more on decoration then we did on beds....WTF?!?@#
THIS IS A MOVIE STORE WE ARE TALKIN ABOUT!!! They also said they have "Phase 2 beds" and all of our beds were "Phase 1"???? What!!?!?#@

Every third salon is run by idiots who think they are tanning pros. That is what is wrong with our industry. It almost makes me wish tanning was more regulated.

Yeah, I just got the flux capacitor upgraded to a phase 4 so kiss my arse. Still at Phase 2, what chumps.

It doesn't matter if it was....we are SUPER regulated in Texas and I am the ONLY SALON in town that abides by the 24 hour (to the minute) tanning law like I am supposed to. NONE and I mean NONE of the movie gallery stores or salons abide. I even called the Texas health inspector and said hey look, this is going on. All they said was they would send a letter out but they couldn't come inspect because there are so many salons in Texas and so little inspectors. WTF?!@!#@

Just make sure that if you TAN there you don't end up in one of their ADULT films!

Hmmm. I wonder if I let tanners have dvd's for free, if they'd get mad. Then I could say get rid of your beds and I'll get rid of my dvds

I own a Video Store and Tanning Salon in one....it goes over great....the front is movies and the back are beautiful tanning rooms....my prices are up there with all of yours and we also do spray tans too...actually is a great idea...we also have late hours so there is always something going on...at least my clerks are making me money instead of watching videos all day and night...again one must watch what they say...as all are not alike and there is over 2,000 video/tanning salons in the US...according to the video news....so someone knows something...I am proud of my salon and run a nice clean ship...anyone interested in doing this i would be happy to help with some advice...ALSO...NO there is NO survelance cameras in or around or near or in any part of the tanning salon....some people just have to make a nasty comment....
