Tampa Bay Tan...quiet box...still not here!!!!

I ordered an hvlp unit from tampa bay tan over 3 weeks ago. I was told that the unit shipped a few days later. When I received it, the quiet box was not with it. I called and Chris told me that they shipped seperately and would go out within the next couple of days. Well, here is is over 3 weeks later and still NO QUIET BOX!!! I have contacted him several times and get excuses. I was told that the hurricane delayed the shipment (although the hurricane hit a week and a half after I ordered it) and then I was told that it would be going out last week and it didn't, then I was told that it would go out this past Monday and I would get a tracking number when it shipped. I still don't have a tracking number, or a quiet box. I think that this is ridiculous and very POOR customer service.

I had the same thing happen when I ordered mine (they shipped seperately). But it does say on the website to allow 2 weeks for delivery, as they hand finish each box. I do think it is a pretty piece, however, will probably build my own the next time. I am sure you will enjoy the apollo HVLP, it is so user friendly and easy to learn. Maybe you could ask him for some discounts for compensation. Chris is generally very helpful and usually has great customer service. Good luck!

It doesn't matter - - the box doesn't work anyway, plus it's bulky! We put our system in a cabnit with double doors and cut air vents in it. It's MUCH quieter than the box.

We had many problems with HVLP while testing a system for our salon. We finally hooked up with A company called MalibuBronz and they sent us a very cute, quiet and portable unit. The thing is a Godsend, I mean almost no sound at all compared to the "paint sprayers". We can do a full body in 5 minutes and no wait time to dry...Talk to Michele and she will give you the scoop on HVLP....

It says on the website 2 weeks, it has been almost 4. Chris said it would go out on Monday and I still haven't received a tracking number...he says he's going to call me, and he doesn't. I would never buy from them again!! If you are looking for an hvlp, I would find a company who can get it to you when they say they will.

This is the first complaint I have heard about TBT and Chris. The customer service that I, and others, have experienced has been great. Chris has gone out of his way to call me back, even after leaving the office. I have never heard a complaint about his customer service, until now. Chris got me the product when he said he would. Not saying this to offend or upset you, but, if you are having such a problem, why don't you send the product back and order from someone else?

I can't send back something that I haven't gotten (quiet box) and since I'm doing 8-10 sprays a day, I can't afford to take the time to get another machine. I'll just have to keep yelling to my customers and hopefully, one of these days, I will get the quiet box. Like I said before, I have e-mailed Chris and he says he will call at a certain time and he doesn't. Not very professional in my book!!!

We had a lot of complaints when we used their solution. it fades too quickly and unevenly. Some of the customers complained they were itchy???!! The Apollo machine is super noisy. We went with MalibuBronz in the end.

Yea, not real impressed with anything I have gotten from TBT. The samples of solution I got with the machine didn't last, the machine is SUPER loud, and I STILL have not gotten the quiet box. They sure didn't hesitate to take my money, but they sure are taking their sweet time sending me the box. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE !!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION OR HVLP UNIT....RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM TAMPA BAY TAN!!!!
