Rep Power: 0 | I am just now doing the airbrush spray and yesterday was my first time. The girl I did said everthing looked really good but on the bottom of her legs it did not seem to take in much color. I told her to come back today and I would fix it, well I spray the bottom of the leg and it just don't want to tan. Is there some kind of trick that I am just not doing. PLEASE HELP!! |

Rep Power: 0 | Stephanie, I would ask if she had any lotion on what so ever, if she applied lotion earlier in the day, etc. If she showered with a soap (soaps leave a slight film on skin that needs to be rinsed off with a shower gell) or a bodywash (Dove has been said to also leave a slight film). Some areas of the body don't take to the tan as well as others on some ppl. How much are you using on the total body application? You may consider trying to spray the area (that is not taking the tan) an extra time. Hope that helps, I am sure someone might chime in |

Rep Power: 0 | I've noticed on my sprays that the ankles and feet are never as dark, but they do darken up after a little while. We also make it mandatory for the customer to use and exfoliant in order for us to guarantee their tan. People will tell you that they have nothing on their skin, etc when they really do. I had a lady come in and say that she had lotion on her face. I told her that her skin was to be completely clean and she said you just said my body, not my face !!!!! On our form we put a section on there that says that they have followed all the requirements before their spray and we make them sign it...it states that they have not put ANYTHING on their skin, that they shower, shaved, and exfoliated, etc. You will definitely be able to tell if they have something on their skin. Good luck...it is very frustrating at times! |

Rep Power: 21 | For lower legs...Make sure to check what type of shaving cream or gels she is using. If she is using either, she should stop before and after her tan. She can use a generic hair conditioner if she likes. Both shaving cream and shaving gels leave residue before a tan, and they can have high alcohol levels for shaving with their tan, so either way, not a good thing. Jen www.abtan.com |
