Rep Power: 0 | I have never heard that you can't be sprayed when you are pregnant, BUT It's not something that I would do on a regular basis as there is not enough long term research IMO on this subject. Save the spraying for special occasions is what I would tell you. |

Rep Power: 21 | I personally do not spray clients who are pregnant. My reason is, applying a sunless tanner topically is fine for preggers, but it has not been proven that there are no ill effects, and it isn't likely to be proven anytime soon, as pregnant women will never be tested on. Several other reasons apply to my reasoning: My clients wear feet stickers, or cut up contact paper on their feet. Pregnant women (Very pregnant women) may be off balance to begin with, I'm not going to give them slippery things to stick on their feet and ask them to be careful where I've just sprayed a mist that is all over the place. Pregnant women are a bundle of hormones. Drastic changes in hormonal balance can and will affect a sunless solution 's performance. I definitely notice a difference in color development on myself once a month, if you know what I mean...and I don't want to have to respray someone because the first time didn't take as well as it should have, and I don't want a client's first impression of sunless to be less than what it should be. So, those are my reasons, but many others spray pregnant women with no problems. It's really up to you. Jen www.abtan.com |
