Here kitty, kitty. I'm not here to impress you or anyone else ZABAZU but rather express my opinions just like you. Get a life and get over it. So you had a problem with Magic Tan. Move on. There's a famous saying - "Me thinks you protest too much!). Get it? The more you complain about it the more people will think you're the one with the problem, not Magic Tan and in this case... So take a chill pill, get over it, move on, drink a glass of wine, say a prayer or go meditate in the corner. Try spending the time you use to complain and use it to build your business. That's the smart thing to do. Let me guess, I'm not the first person to ever tell you that either.
You never did say who you talked to at Magic Tan either. Bet if I call them I'd get a completely different view of your situation. And, that's the way life is. People see things differently at times but most of us move on. My relationship with Magic Tan has been wonderful. In the two years that I've dealt with them I have found they have a high ethical standard. You’ve also heard from others about how well they’re doing with their Magic Tan Machines. Do the numbers yourself. Here, I’ll do them for you just in case you don’t have a calculator handy. AVERAGE 8 spray tans a day, (sometimes more, sometimes less) times an AVERAGE of just $20 a tan, times (lets use 6 days a week) 6 days, times (lets use 51 weeks) 51 equals $48,960.00. Check my math, but I think that’s correct. Subtract $6,000.00 for solution cost ($500 x 12/5 gallon buckets) and then subtract $23,000.00 for the machine cost. That net profit equals $19,960.00 in the first year with paying the machine off. Let me check that again. Did I turn on my calculator? Yep, that's it. Close enough to $20,000.00 for me and anybody else who can use a calculator. These numbers are very real for a salon with 21 rooms and the clientele to keep them busy. I noticed that in your Forum Profile it indicates you have ZERO locations and ZERO tanning beds. Well, there’s your problem. You own NO locations with NO tanning beds. DUH! Enjoy your life, ZABAZU or at least try harder. |

Thought you'd require a more complete and detailed explaination. Guess I was wrong. Nice to see you're taking those meds. Hope they help you and I hope this was short enough for yah. You still haven't told us who you talked to at MT.

Read my reply to your P.M. Missy. If anyone is on the rag baby, it's gotta be you because all you do is rant about this problem everywhere. "Are you sure your really a man" Are you giving me an invitation for you to find out? Is that was this is all about? or was that yet another shot you expect me to take without responding. You just don't know when to keep quiet mouth.

Getting back to the topic, let me again say what I posted above;
I've seen Magic Tan prices vary by options you pick. Their newest version has a patent pending, on-board, computerized, hand held spray nozzle giving one the best of both worlds and allows one to perform easy touch-ups if needed using the vented booth as the enclosure. Sounds like a winner to me. Keep in mind, if you wait for prices to come down, you'll also not be making any profits while you wait. If I waited a year to save $2,000.00 I'd have lost the $20,000. in profits I made. I'll also be happy to have MT call or email spike500 or anyone else should they wish to have any questions or concerns answered. Just P.M. or email me. I don't work for or sell their machines. They've just become good business friends of mine. I do have a call into them regarding some issues others had posted here and I'll start a new thread with what I hear back, good or bad. I'll keep it factual and honest but wont use any names |

If you're shopping, that's exactly the price range for the HT machines under the MiracleMist brand name. I have yet to get in a MagicTan yet. My wife was going to be on the East Coast, and I was going to have her check out RamCat's celebrity, but her trip was postponed.
To be fair, I haven't heard anything negative (besides the usual anti-sunless propaganda) against the Magic. So if you're locked into getting that brand, the price sounds right and you'll get a good unit for the $$$. However, I wouldn't pay 23k for a used one though...I've seen used for for 19k and under. The profitability question above will vary. The private conversations I've had have confirmed the track records. I've done NO advertising on mine and get very good traffic. The reason we bought it was because when we were looking to purchase the salon, we noticed almost everytime we were there to do "Due Diligence" there was a customer turned away who had been specifically asking about spray tanning. |
