Thanks for the info, dreamwalker! I just emailed and will call later. What does JA stand for? Maybe I'll order some samples from them as well. I've ordered Jamaican Mist, Puresunless (which has a great price) and another one from React Cosmetics, whose solution is suppose to be stable up to 100 degrees(F). I do like the SS as it gives a nice color and has no odor. I got it with my malibubronzer but the person who sold my the HVLP said it's better to buy the solution direct from SS. Is anyone using ventilation system for their HVLP? My spray tan artist, who normally does airbrush, was very concerned about overspray until she actually used the HVLP system. Maybe we don't need it. I bought a box fan and allergenic filter to rig on it but if I don't have to use it, it would be better as I think the contraption is quite unattractive.

We have tried and used several. Formulated Solutions was our choice for a long time. John Abate' came out with one and we were using both for a while. Now.....
JA has come out with Premium Solution. We got a gallon in last week. AWESOME!!!! We did a test on one of our "ginny pigs". One leg got the orginal JA the other leg got the premium. The difference was very obvious. Also the premium is less sticky. This girl tends to get a yellowing hue with airbrushing, but with the new premium solution is was a very very bronzed color. She looks as though she been to the Bahamas.... You need to try this one before you order anymore!!!! |
