I have been using Norvell and really liked it but had some problems with looking really dry and cracky after a couple of days. I tried the 3 in 1 Optimizer pretan exfoliater and tan remover from Pharm Tan. It works like a miracle. The first time I tried it I put in on with a spray bottle and it was very uncomfortable- intense tingle. After talking to the rep Jim (very nice) I was putting on way too much- now I spray it with my airbrush instead and it doesn't tingle at all. The skin on my legs have never felt better- silky and smooth even without lotion. They sent me a sample of their water based solution Bronze Brilliance which they say penetrates deeper and lasts longer. So this morning I used the Optimizer on both legs, used the Norvell ph spray on both legs and then sprayed Bronze Brilliance on one leg and Norvell Amber Dark on the other. I'm looking for dryness, fade and cracking. I will repost in a couple of days and let yall know the results. Thank you to everyone who keeps this forum going- I wouldn't have a business at all if it wasn't for all the knowledge shared here. Have a Tan Weekend!! |

I have had no training but I am looking in to it and constantly practicing on friends to find my perfect flow of solution and steady guide with my hands. I'm currently using Norvell and the color has come out really nice but the fading hasn't been so nice. On my clients and myself. Like I said I'm learning. I always stress to my clients don't rub with your towel, don't scrub your skin with loofahs your first shower after your tan, make sure you exfoliate well prior to tan, moisturize well during the time you have the tan. I am wondering if there is a good fading solution out there. Some things that I'm still trying to figure out, if you spray too close does it make it blotch? Are all solutions sticky? What isn't sticky? Again I'm new I'm not asking for everyones secrets I'm just looking for some advice. Please help! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Best airbrush tanning solution??? Hey jaisylee, You really need to try alot of samples. There are many spray tan solutions that fade better than the one you are currently using. You really need to do the research yourself. Everyone has their own opinion and the more samples you can try will just help you to perfect your airbrush tanning skills. Good luck with your new business. :-) |

Try colourcouture.com - its organic, NO ORANGE COLOR and lasts about 7 days (provided the client has thoroughly exfoliated and has not applied lotions, etc.). As an avid tanning bed tanner, I was never into the spray tan idea until I came across a "tanning party" my friend was having. I stopped tanning for a month to see if I would get "real" color from the spray. In support of her, I got sprayed. To my surprise, I didn't look orange AT ALL! I looked brown and it actually lasted (until I went to the gym and sweat from the sportsbra rubbed off in between my breasts). You should definitely try it - - - - |
