Rep Power: 23 | I am wondering what you guys are doing to keep the overspray off the bottom of the clients feet? The overspray falls on the floor (or covering on my floor), then when the client moves around, the bottom of his/her foot get spray on it. I use lotion on the inside of the hands to keep spray off it, but what do you guys do for the feet? |

Rep Power: 22 | We place barrier cream on the feet and place disposable flip flops on the feet. We spray the feet last: we place down a clean bath towel and have the clients slip out of their flip flops and place feet on to the clean towel and we dust the feet as the last process of the tan. we then lay a large clean towel as a path to walk to place their clothes back on. We make sure the clients are not coming in contact with any overspray. |

Rep Power: 21 | What a pain in the wazoo! I buy rolls and rolls of contact paper from the Everything's a dollar store and cut it into feet size "pads". My clients peel the paper backing off, lay it on the floor, and then slip out of their shoe and step onto the foot sticker. They still apply a very light coat of lotion onto their toes and heels, but ONCE the sticker is on, not before. Then, once I've sprayed, dried and powdered the client, I tell them to get dressed and take their feet stickers off just before slipping their shoes back on. Yes, it's a little like a fly on flypaper, but it works and I don't need towels, barrier creams, etc. Jen www.abtan.com |

Rep Power: 0 | We put two wash rags on the floor for the client to stand on. The rags themselves seem to stick to the floor, so when I need the client to turn around, I tell them to just scoot the rags with them. When all is said and done, they have no DHA on the bottoms of their feet and I can use the rags to clean the floor. I save up all the rags for the end of the day and wash them as a whole, but seperate from the towels for UV tanners. (We have never had to use barrier cream using this method) |

Rep Power: 0 | I bought a really cheap pair of slippers (the kind you slip on and don't cover your entire foot). I don't use the barrier cream at all on my feet, too slippery. When I'm done, I use the excess solution from my hair cap on my feet. BTW, I don't think it's a good idea to put towels down because the "fuzzys" will eventually clog the drain. |
