Clear solution versus bronzer is only for the "immediate gratification" part of the results...The bronzer, acts as a guide to help clients spot if they would need to "blend" a spot right after their session or if you don't have a booth and are spraying your customer, would act as your guide.

The bronzer portion, with or without, does not affect the tan's outcome in the long run.Bronzer washes off in the first shower. DHA in the solution is what "tans" them, the type of solution you use, the quality of ingredients etc. determines your outcome.

Using lotion when you spray someone, not going to let them get as "tan", this is the equivalent of using barrier creme...a little of the solution may get through, but probably not the best idea.

Also you never want to have them use a lotion that has OIL as one of the top ingredients in it...Soltution will not penetrate this barrier, look for petrolatum,(a big NO NO)usually like the second ingredient on the list. Hempz is a good moisturizer to use...

People that are really white, just have them exfoliate like crazy before they come in,also shave as well and tell them to NOT put any lotion on prior to their session, (because of reason mentioned above), as after care tell them to NOT use wash cloths, buff puffs etc. when they bathe or shower as this will exfoliate their tan unevenly and cause them to loose their tan more rapidly.Hand, soap and water only...moisturize after every shower and tan should look and last great! Hope this helps!

Great advice ZABAZU!

Stylz also has a spray solution called Forever that works very well on fair skinned clients. It has DHA and Erythrulose. You can check it out at www.stylzproducts.com or call 800-771-4826. Their reps are very helpful and can set you up with a solution that is best for any skin type.
