Hello! I have a terrible problem with overspray and had heard about the Norvell Airbrush Tanning Booth. I was curious if anyone had used one of these, and if so, do they really work?

Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Yes.....we had a hard time with the price, but the professionalism of it and how well it works makes it worth it. Before it came, we rigged up some sheets on the floor and walls, used a 21" box fan with a filter on the backside and was embarrassed each time I had to spray somebody. Some people have it rigged up with shower curtains or some other deal, but if a professional look is important, get the booth. I believe the booth portrays that you are serious about the business.

I'm using the sheets right now, and you're right, it's embarrassing! Thank you for your thoughts! Much appreciated

We built one inside a tan room in the corner with two sheets of masonite and then I built a Exhaust fan and lighting in a overhead corner topper.

Spent about $225.00 on materials and half a day install but it looks very professional.

The booth does make quite a difference! I have sprayed people with the box fan and filter method as well as the booth. With the booth there is no disgusting filters and brown crusted fan and it virtually elimantes all over spray so you can talk to your client without both of you coughing on fumes!

Our company just came out with a awesome new booth. That does indeed eliminate overspray, and it is very professional. Also the lighing makes it a great asset for airbrush tanning. Please check out our website. Healthyrays.com

Re: Norvell Airbrush Tanning Booth

I bought the Norvell Tanning Booth for my salon! It looks very professional! But BUYERS BEWARE! Don't order from Spa Team International. I had a number of problems with them. Paul the "CEO" of the company is whom I dealt with and he did not tell the truth about when it was shipped. There were days when I couldn't even get a hold of the company. I would call leave messages and he would TEXT message me back!!! POOR customer service! It maybe 200 dollars cheaper but its worth it to order straight from Norvell!!!

Re: Norvell Airbrush Tanning Booth

Even with Norvell or any company built booths is there still filters to clean or to keep changed. Which type of spray unit created the most overspray? Which unit is better compressor or turbine?

I use the fan with a filter attached to it. I just explain to the customer what it does and it's no big deal.
