Thanks for clearing up the confusion...

My system has 90% transfer efficiency rate and sprays at lower than 10PSI, which is why I call it *true* HVLP...it sprays a high volume of air at a low pressure through an HVLP gun.

I would love to see the report from the independent lab that tested that equipment and came up with the 90% figure. Again, There are many *true* HVLP systems on the market (turbines and compressors) and alot of them work well. Turbine systems work and will get the job done, however, I believe that there are much better alternatives, less expensive, smaller, quieter, and definitely more reliable. The misinformation that gets tossed around is unbelievable, and companies and distributors will say anything to sell their products. I don't know how they sleep at night. 90%? I think your manufacturer misleading you into telling your clients the wrong story. Sorry!

Thanks ETI...I'll have to check on that but I am certain that the supplier told me 90%...It's all in the gun is what my understanding is???;)
