I was just wondering GeTanLV if you have any lotions that you sell in your salon that contain DHA or bronzers? I know we carry alot of lotions that give instant color and is preferd by many clients along with UV tanning. The sunless booths, or airbrush , give an all over color that is actually sprayed DHA and conditioners and bronzers.(not paint) This application is great for a special occation, or how about clients you are missing that are type 1 and can't tan. Maybe you should get a clue and look into a market that you are missing.

Tuscan .... that is a tough one. Unless you have been there....the catchy similes and metaphors are tough to fathom.

Hummmm?

How about:

Shana, thanks for the support.
GeTanLV, Spray tanning is not a vapor. It is a mist or spray. The FDA has only not approved inhalation or getting the mist in eyes, nose, mouth, etc. That is what using Mist Free Filters is for. duh. Give the clients protection for any booth they use. Just like UV tanning and goggles. duh duh

Peppermint Patty, we use the Norvell Airbrush system WITH the booth, which of course cost us extra, lots extra, but it has 3 high output fans which are turned backwards so that they suck in the overspray. The overspray is then collected in washable filters and there is even a back-up filter behind those. There is very little to no solution in the air at any time.

i am curious,as far as the mist off the airbrush tanning i was thinking(i havnt started my buisness yet,but plan on it soon)my husband is a welder and he has to wear a filter mask so he does not inhale all the crude in the mills...so if we could get one of thouse and put a really good filter system...i would think as far as the people who do the spraying would be okay....and i was think as long as your do the face last and they wear a mask the inhaling im sure is limted..the comment as far as the mouth kinda scared me..i just recently had my first tan by airbrush and ..i am breastfeeding, but i washed the nipple area really good....and i waited several sevarl hours before nursing...i hope she didnt get any...what do you think on this issue..exspecialy if i have a custmor who is to nursing????? thanks...KERI from Florida
