Topless to Airbrush??

I am opening a new salon,want to do Airbrush vs. spray booth. Recently went to a salon in my town to get a airbrush tan to compare the results of the booth. The lady told me almost everyone takes their tops off. I was embrassed but did it. Is this the way most do? Help, not sure I can airbrush women with their tops off!

We've had several topless, a couple all nude, but mostly they choose either a bathing suit or bra/panties.

Wow, I'm shocked. About every female goes nude infront of us. They don't want tan lines. Who cares - its just a job to us and when you talk while you work, you could care less. Men on the other hand do have to wear some type of underwear. Its just our policy Good luck with the airbrushing 0

We require their bottoms to have some type of covering, even if it is itsy bitsy. About 2/3 of our women are topless (and all of the men! ). After awhile you just get used to it. I have seen more boobs in the past few months.....you just get used to it. Happy Airbrushing!!

Just to cover our a$$ we do have customers sign consent form for when they do go topless, or more. If they are under 18 there is no way they can expose those areas. We dont tell the customer that most go topless, we just let them know that it is an option. We also have to techs that do the spray-on tan - one female, one male and we give the customer the option to choose.

We tell female clients they have to at least wear a thong. I won't do full nude. Same for males. I let female clients decide whether they want to go topless or not...it's their choice.

If I new it was that easy to get chicks naked I would have bought an air brush system long ago. I will be pricing one of those on Monday.

The reason I ask is, if you were to go for a tattoo, and wanted it in the area of your pubic region, do they refuse because you are a male or female. Don't think so. It's part of the process. Clients should be given the option of tanlines or no tanlines, and you should be professional enough to accommodate.
