KIMBERLYRENEE23
Our Salon uses the well-known Amber Mist, there is a slight smell but most describe it as the same smell one developes after tanning without lotion. I've found a source that sells Amber Mist, direct from them, for only $139.00 a gallon. THe color is great, the price is great, little in the way of smell and after doing hundreds of air-brush spray tans we have had no complaints other than the ocassional come-back for just a bit more color (sometimes we go a little lighter on ghost-white people)

After searching the best price on the web..Ebay seems to be the least expensive..I hope it's not a get what you pay for kind of deal. Anyone had any problems with the solution when they receive from an ebay seller? ...leakage...product expired?

We have never bought a product DHA based product on eBay beacuse it could be old and many products containing DHA expire, especially spray solutions which have a shelf-life of 9 months! Be careful of what you buy. E-mail me off list and I can give you a link to a site that does sell Amber-Mist in 1 gallon and smaller, the site is not very fancy but we purchased and two days later we got the product direct from Paasche, the makers of Amber-Mist. $139.00 a gallon is A LOT cheaper than I have ever seen it, and since it was shipped direct to us, billed to the site owner, from Paasche we know this product is very "fresh".

Hey Kimberlyrenee23:
Cheap Airbrush tanning products will leave a DHA smell as they develop. I have found the best product for me is South Seas (www.southseas.homestead.com). It lasts very long as well. It has a very light colour guide(which is good, I might add) Some people think that a darker colourguide is better but it is not. Some people look horrible if they get too dark of an instant colour. If you want more colour you can just add booster drops and customize your formula to the customers' skin tone. Also, they will be very impressed that you have a solution on hand that is their very own! I have also found that Art Derfall's (www.airbrushsalon.com) product is similar. Email me for more infor if you like.

We use Jamaica Me Tan. The color guide is very natural (dark) looking and has a pleasant pina coloda scent. No need for the expensive booster drops. My clients are very pleased with the color guide. I think the shelf life of the solution is one year. Oh, and the customer service is TOPS! They are coming out with a new option - HVLP - you can do a full body tan in 3 minutes! Also soon to come is airbrush makeup and tattoos
