Rep Power: 23 | Those of you buying units from hardware stores, how did you know what size compressor and what type of gun to use? There are so many on the market! Dont you have to have a compressor, or maybe it is the hose, but something has a little moisture valve on it. I have a regular system, looking to upgrade to hvlp. |

Rep Power: 0 | Topicgirl, if you are looking at HVLP systems at hardware stores, be sure to ask what size needle/nozzle and air cap are on the gun. Most are outfitted for spraying latex paint, which, as Jen stated, is WAY too large for spraying DHA solution or exfoliants. You want to look for a turbine-driven motor and not a compressor. Please PM me if I can give you more information about HVLP/LVLP systems. As a manufacturer, I'm not allowed to speak about our equipment specifically. Jayne |

Rep Power: 0 | I also use the tc3 and have started using liquid assets solution . I agree with Christie that it is a great solution and has a beautiful and natural color. I have tried this on a variety of clients and it has had excellent results with everyone. I also can highly recommend the tc3 system. Not only is it quiet...it also sprays flawlessly. my 11 year old daughter sprayed me the other night (I wanted to see if a begineer could handle it!) and she sprayed me wonderfully! Good luck in your search!! |

Rep Power: 0 | I noticed a new air brush system in Spa 20/20. I think its a cross between typical airbrush sytems and HVLP. It seems pretty fancy and the cost is resonable. Check it out its called Infinity Sun www.infinitysun.com. From reading the web sight it has two solution containers and the ability to mix the solutions at the nozzle. computer controled with a lot of fancey features. I think this is the next generation in hand held systems!!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | we use the norvell system, i love it! we a lso use their products, we wont switch either. I do have a pattern to my madness of spraying as well. I went and peeked at the website about spray tanning and it stated the person goes ion straight lines. Thats the one things I would recommend against. ALways go in circular patterns, that way you will overlap each area and diminish the chance of missing anything. If you'd like my tips and tricks let me know, we had about 20 people volunteer for 1/2 price to practice on. We got the kinks out right away and have never had a complaint. We've even fixed alot of others who had spray tanning painted on and done the big booth... |
