ramcat was asked not to spam a long time ago, and in my opinion he does not any longer. He will answer questions when asked directly, and comments about other units in a gentlemanly manner, suggesting that there are alternatives. No one in this thread asked anything about the IST unit, therefore, that is spam IMO.

I own a MagicTan booth. I bought it Oct 1st and have loved it. Our customers love the color they receive and it does bring in people who would have otherwise never came in to tan in our beds. Do a study with your members help and see if there is a market for a MagicTan in your salon. In mine there was a need and we are seeing more and more people use it each month. The color is flawless, the in/out time is amazingly quick and people come back. Enough said!

Jeff..If you are happy with your decision then that is that. The same goes for anyone that has purchased a booth that they are happy with. I have never told anyone that they made a bad choice or to change their mind. I have told everyone to look very closely before making a decision. This includes my booth. If you've tried almost every booth as you claim, and have decided on the ITS, that is your choice. Just don't tell everyone to make the same choice. Let them decide for themselves.
Sizzle loves his Magic and I am glad. The real fact is that there are more and more salons adding sunless. There is enough business for all the companies. What Neon stated above is exactly what I have maintained. Yes, I will ask questions and I may even state what my booth does. But I do not state that mine is better than yours. Look at my posts. You'll see that I point out differences. You'll see that I recommend that the person look at everything that is out there. I do not tell them to go to our website. Before you call me a spammer, you better look into the facts. |

Neon, in order for something to be classified as spam I would have to be making money off of it. I currently do not make a cent from any sales of sunless booths.
Ramcat, I have checked the facts and its obvious I have a different spin on the facts. I have seen you "ask questions" in an effort to give potential customers doubts about their choices. I have seen you recomend that a person look at everything that is out there all the while prominately displaying your we address in every post. I have never insisted anyone buy from ITS only presented it as an option. I have shared my experiance with this company in the hopes that other salon owners will give them a try and see what I have seen. You see folks I can recomend ITS just like I can recomend Heartland, Sontegra, Future, Designer Skin, Fiji, and any other personal choices I have made and been happy about. I don't make a penny off of those recomendations so it is NOT spam. |

Once you bring in manufacturers who start spouting off specs on their booths you have turned a thread into spam. By quoting their website as you did JeffInKC you turned your opinion into an informercial - SPAM!
This thread is about MagicTan. Get back on point. Miquep - we bought a 6 month old used MagicTan from a salon in Indiana. Paid $16,200 for it and that included them driving it from IN to Maryland and installing it. It also included 3 buckets of solution ($1200 value) and over $500 in retail products. Hope this helps. If you are interested in buying a new or used MagicTan booth I highly recommend Tim Ferguson. His handle on here is ncstatefan. |
