Magic Tan Spray

Every since I bought my salon I have not been a fan of the Magic Tan booth that came with it. My problem right now is that when client choose the instant color their legs come out with runs. Also I noticed when the last person used it the spray had sprayed the walls. This machine has been a nightmare! Wanted to get rid of but people keep coming in to use it.

Re: Magic Tan Spray

There are adjustments for the lotion flow and the pressure on the back of the unit. Chances are that your flow rate is too high and your pressure may be as well.

Re: Magic Tan Spray

I'll check that. If it sprayed the walls of the room could there be a hole somewhere?

If it is spraying too hard then the pressure valve needs to be turned down in the back of the unit. If you are getting runs, it may be the lotion flow valve.

I would probably turn both down, do a spray, evaluate and continue to adjust until you get the best results. Some lotion film will always get on walls; that is what the rinse function is for.

I'll try that. It's spraying out of the booth itself and hitting the room walls.

Is your door closed? Or is it spraying backwards on the back of the walls? If it is spraying backwards, something is clogged in the back of the machine. Mine has a door on front; nothing gets out.

Mine is an MT3500 Deluxe model. Our door is on the side. The black covering where the controls were not completely covering but still it looks like theres a clog because the last owners left old solution in it.

Yes, that is not normal. You may have a loose hose to a nozzle in the back that is the culprit. You should be able to cycle the machine and run it down.

Re: Magic Tan Spray

I just figured out the air pressure gauge will say one number but the machine reads it lower than that number. Right now the gauge is set to 60ish and the system says the air pressure is 42
