I am anxious for Oshman to check out the new pura because he always has such strong opinions. pura is without any question the new standard in spray tanning equipment. Finally a booth and a company that addresses the salon operator and spray tanners needs. Anyone interested in a spray both must try this great new booth. With the increasing popularity of spray tanning, pura should be in every salon that wants to capture the spray tanning in their market. Finally a booth that stands apart from all others. My salons that have already received their pura's can't believe how excited the spray tanners are. Heartland has built a better mouse trap. If you have purchased a spray booth in recent years you know you must deal with a company that has a monopoly on the spray booth industry. When this happens the equipment is no longer improved and no new innovations, this also creates a situation where the support and level of customer service declines drastically. i have heard terrible stories about after the sale unresolved issues.

Because of the nature of spray booths with solution, pressure hoses, pumps, nozzles and so on, there are always going to be service issues. Minimizing issues and dealing with service issues quickly and easily must be a big part of the product.

How is pura different? here are a few things.
Three Spray heads mounted at different levels: Improves the spray pattern

Two body positions: With the 3 head design an even spray is achieved with only 2 body positions.

Solution pump: pura has 4 commercial grade pumps, the competition uses smaller pumps with a much higher failure rate.

Pressure monitors: pressure transducers to monitor pump pressure real time.

Smart solution sensors: Fluid level sensors alerts the front desk that fluids are low.

Gantry motor: The gentry motor is 5 times larger than the competition, designed for continuous use.

Blower motor: 50cfm larger than other blowers on the market.

Comfort drying heaters: The pura comfort drying system uses twin 120V 750W heaters mounted to the spray bar. The heat is applied to the body along with spray to improve not only drying comfort but spray comfort as well. The exhaust blower turns off during comfort drying so as to not evacuate the heat from the booth for added comfort.

Sump pump: Marine grade designed for reliability.

Ventilation design: Maximizes the wrap effect for improved coverage.

Dyna coat: The Dyna coating process is proprietary to the pura unit. Dyna coat is a surface coating on the air caps and nozzles, that reduces the cleaning time on caps and nozzles. This process is much like rain ex on your car windshield.

Quiet blower design: The HVLP blower enclosure is designed for sound deadening.

Solution Containment system: The solution center is designed to contain spillage in the lower area in the event of a malfunction or incorrect replacement of a solution bottle. In the event of a solution spill ,it will spill into the base catch area that prevents leakage onto the floor. This area drains to the sump pump.

Gantry timing: The pura is designed to allow the end user to select 3 different DHA settings on the clear and bronzer. We accomplish this by varying the gantry timing rather than pump pressure. This allows for more consistent performance.

Replacement parts are modular, making it easy for the operator to exchange parts.

This is the best part, diagnostics of your pura for diagnosing service issues are done through your computer.

The pura excels in all areas. You now have a voice and this will also make spray companies step up their game. However that will be too little too late. When it comes to spray booths, salon operators have been taken advantage of for long enough.

Marketing the latest UV free technology in your market will bring those spray tanners in droves. Build a better mousetrap and they will come.
