How to build an overspray booth Has anyone made their own overspray booth? They seem so expensive to buy. If anyone has instructions on how to build one I would greatly apreciate the feedback. Thanks! -Amber |
Re: How to build an overspray booth Did you figure out how to build one? I'm looking to do the same so if you found a way to do it could you foward the directions to me? Thanks! |
Re: How to build an overspray booth The best thing to do is a room of thick heavy machine washable curtains. It grabs the over spray (top too). You wash it I use heavy clips to hang them from. Some people use curtain rods |
Re: How to build an overspray booth We tiled our room with huge 24 x 24 tiles, floor to ceiling and we have a drain in the middle of our floor. We clean it regularly, and then once in a while HOSE the entire room down. We only use one extractor fan, and it has seemed to be enough. Even if we didnt have the drain, i would highly recommend this tiled set up, we also just added tile to our VersaSpa room walls. |

Re: How to build an overspray booth I think the one at http://hollywoodairbrushtanningacademy.com/ looks quite nice for a custom made booth and uses regular items available at your local hardware store. One of my favourite things to do is to window shop equipment and imagine a home studio. Here are a few I like to stare at and imagine. sigh. : ) The Kahuna Bay looks awesome http://www.kahunabaytan.com/Kahuna-B...at-p/10000.htm The Turbo Twister Tower or the Opus 2 http://www.sunquestsunbeds.com/spray...praytan-booth/ I am dubious of "white" backgrounds with any kind of spray tanning. I almost bought a St. Tropez mobile booth but the "white" stopped me and the price of course! |
