Tanning guns

Hi

What are the main issues you have with any of the tanning guns you use?

Also what would you like changed on any of the guns you use?

Re: Tanning guns

Use of marine grade steel internal components and light weight is key for me.
BTW, trying to add warm air to a gun while spraying a solution is an impossibility due to the law of physics. I only bring this up because you mentioned addressing this issue in the other thread you posted.

I have the MaxiMist plastic gun and its not that bad( im looking to upgrade to the pro one soon) Some time when i spray someone or me it feels like pins on your body like your getting a tattoo. Is it beause there is to much solution comeing out or am i to cose to the person? Also sometimes when i spray it looks like the color is very light?

Re: Tanning guns

I use an HVLP gun by American Turbine & have no complaints. It's been a great gun/system.

Re: Tanning guns

I'm debating about getting the Maximist system with the Progun or the regular gun? I plan on spraying about 20 clients/week hopefully (just a little side job). Is it worth splurging for the pro?

Re: Tanning guns

I used the gun that came with my maximist for the first year, then upgraded to the pro. I love the pro gun and only use the original gun when doing large parties where both my mobile units run at the same time. One of my employees still likes the original gun. It's lighter weight than the pro so less wrist fatigue.

Re: Tanning guns

Why did you upgrade after a year? Should I save myself the hassle and just buy the pro? The regular gun comes with a one year warranty, and the pro is a lifetime warranty. Worth it? Whats the difference between the two guns?
