I am trying to decide on equiptment for my mobile airbrush business. I have read tons of threads on here and think I've narrowed it down to Norvell or maxi mist. What do you guys think? From what I've read, it sounds like great tan results depends more on the solution than machine, true? Any other suggestions or helpful advice? THANK YOU!! :)

Since you are asking..Norvell. Great equipment and solutions, but above all the most amazing support and customer service. Your tools are your life blood, but it is equally as important to get expert help and support when you need it...They give it and that is hard to find these days after you have written the check and bought.

I don't have time to waste leaving messages and waiting for calls back...I get answers on the spot each and every time. I deal with tons of companies and I have to say these guys have their priorities straight...the customers! It is a sincere relationship of being there for you.

I have even been impressed at how available the owner makes himself. Also, Brandon is on this board and always available for support.

Im so CONFUSED!! Please help! I just purchased a used Iwata Power Jet Pro with a Eclipse G6 Gun and a Revolution BCR. Now I am told this is what people used to use and its out dated? I was told to go with a HVLP Is this correct?
I have an appointment today to get the tan done with the Apollo T 100 which I feel is Loud .
Anyways Im trying to decide if I should sell what i just bought and go with the HVLP

I purchased an Iwata with the G6 gun earlier this year and hated it. It takes forever to tan and was constantly having issues with it. I just bought a Norvel system and it is hands down so much better. Tans take 10 minutes and goes on so much more even. The system is louder, but it is worth a little noise. I haven't tried the Norvel solution yet, I still have my Sunmist solution left which I like a lot.

Such helpful info, thanks everyone! I'm about to open an airbrush studio and am hoping to narrow this down and make a final decision at the Smart Tan show. Seems Norvell may be it!
