Rep Power: 0 | Mystic Tech Support No happy with the return time that Tech Support with Mystic is giving. Received a part overnight yesterday around 10 and they did not return the call until 4 to let me know how to install. That did not fix the problem so I had to leave another message and they called back after I left. Called at 8:30 this am and just now and still no answer or call back yet. Very Frustrated as this is a money making machine at my salon. I have to have it up today. Does anyone know of a Tech here in the Houston area that can work on Mystic? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Mystic Tech Support Yes Mystic has had some struggles since the Merger. It was simpler 'back then'. Now the same number of guys are answering the phones for TWO companies instead of one. But they've hired some new phone techs now so it's gotten a little better. To get the most experienced Mystic phone techs ask Zach DiFrancesco, Lee McCord, Jeff Addington, Aaron or Nate Berry. Troy Hammond knows the Magic Tan / VersaSpa & there maybe others that know it too. There may be other top techs I don't know of, or call me for quick phone help. I want a website soon to assist customers with pictures, text & videos about fixing spray tan equipment. Last edited by SprayTanService; 09-15-2011 at 12:08 AM. Reason: completeness |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Mystic Tech Support Mystic tech support blows, even years ago they had issues and incompetence but now it's worse. We are having issues with our MyMyst booth not working, several parts needed to replaced on the tower (both sensors and others), been down for two weeks and losing money (more if we didn't offer airbrush and have another booth at our other location). Call backs from techs take 2+ hours, it's absolutely ridiculous that they don't hire more people after the merger. My recommendation is to sell your Mystic booth and look for something else from a manufacturer with better tech support (is there one that exists???), or stick to airbrush. At least it's easy to re-train airbrush techs when you have turnover, you don't have to buy parts and spend money servicing a broken booth, and you can charge more for it (and frankly the results are way better, more customer loyalty). |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Mystic Tech Support Feel free to call me or deal directly with an independent, certified tech in your area. If you requested a service call you'd have it fixed by now & the repair would be warrantied. Sometimes it's a false economy to try to fix it yourself. Problems can't be teched precisely by phone, though we all try to. For $195 you could have an hour of experienced tech help in your salon. $85 an hour for additional hours, divided down into quarters of hours. |
