Problem with VersaSpa spray

I purchased my VersaSpa in early 2007. We take great care of it, keep it clean, perform regular maintenance, and overall it has been a phenomenal machine (even when Magic Tan changes the solution mixture on us).

However, I have been having issues with it spraying stronger on one side. I have seen people get one side darker than the other, and it's always the front left side. This happens particularly to legs.

I purged the solutions, and as it is purging, the left side sprays about 3-4 inches higher up than the right side. To me, this indicates more force behind the spray. I've tried to purge with purge solution, to clear any blockage or build-up (?), but it still sprays higher on the left.

Anyone else experience this? I'm not trying to get picky, but I've had about 5 clients mention it.

BTW, thanks to everyone out there posting. Because of you, this is the only question I have left unanswered. The search box is a good thing.

Re: Problem with VersaSpa spray

the old magic tan booths, you were able to stick a pin in the front of the spray nozzle and aim it wherever you wanted if it was off or blocked by something.

Not sure if versaspa is similar. but something for you to check.

Unscrew the collar and take it off. Take the nozzle off and clean it out and try it again. I would bet you have something in the nozzle.

Use your cell phone so you can be near the booth and call the company. They will walk you through step by step on how to adjust the spray zones so they are aiming in the correct position. We have had to do this before. Once adjusted again spraying will be great.

Re: Problem with VersaSpa spray

purge each of the 3 solutions. If it is not spraying as far with all of the solutions then it is a clogged nozzle. Take the nozzle out and run it under some hot water. (dont be sticking pins in it)

If it is only doing it on one of the solutions then it is likely a clogged or bad elbow connection leading up to the nozzle. (another easy fix you can easily be walked through)

Call tech support if you dont know how to take the nozzles out. you will need a socket wrench.

I would suggest getting this fixed before you spray anybody else.

This is an easy problem to diagnose and fix.
