2007 Versa spa vs 2009 Versa spa

What is the main difference besides the price?

The one that I am looking at has a dryer but no voice or heater.

When I go and look at it is there anywhere that I should pay special attention to? It is still operational so I will be trying it out while I am there.

I will have a Versa Spa authorized Tech take it apart and put it back together at my salon.

Re: 2007 Versa spa vs 2009 Versa spa

I think I read somewhere that the 2009 model had an upgrade where you can dry in between each session and that it had something to do with reprogramming the unit. I heard it was around $2000 to upgrade, is it worth it?

Any reason to purchase a spray booth new over used?

Thanks
Susan

My 2007 model dries in between each solution without any upgrade. The only difference i have heard of, but i dont even know if this is for sure, is that the newest model as a heated blow dry.

The one that I tried at the show was suppose to be heated. It was warm but I am not sure how much of a difference it was between yours and theirs.

Since yours just blows air is it cold air? have you had any complaints about it being too cold?

thanks

Re: 2007 Versa spa vs 2009 Versa spa

Just found out it is now $2500.00 for the heat and voice... anyone that has the 2007 model is the heat worth it or are your clients ok with the blow dry (without heat).

Also does it dry them all of the way or do they still need a towel to dry down with when then get out?

Also the 2009 model I did not have to use any barrier cream only baby wipes.. is that the same on the 2007 model?

Thanks
Susan

Your clients won't know that any of these other features are available. I would just put in the used one. Does the same thing and saves money. It is the neurotic salon owners that make the most problems and make units worthless in 6 months.

All you have to tell the clients what it does and theyt will say, "really?" and you close the door.

Less is more.

The older units can be reprogrammed with the newer software to function like the newer one. You can always purchase the ad ons too and still be ahead of the game with the used one.

Re: 2007 Versa spa vs 2009 Versa spa

Thanks Brian,

Your right, I will keep it simple and let them know it dries them and I think they will really like that feature, I know that I did!

Since the next closest versaspa is over 3 hours away from me I am going to leave it as is and then if I change my mind I will do the upgrades later.

I was able get it it almost $10k less then new so I am very excited about that and if I ever did decided to upgrade then your right that I will be ahead of the game.

Thanks again

Susan
