Rep Power: 0 ![]() | New to Airbrush Tanning Hi, We're looking into starting a small in-home airbrush tanning business and need some imput regarding the best airbrush system for our buck. We want a system that will work with an organic tanning solution and has a controllable spray head. Anyone have any advice or tips? Also, do you have to go to some type of training to learn to spray tan, or do the units just come with instructions? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks! Ashley & Christine |

It has an HVLP gun. There are 2 types of guns, airbrush & HVLP. An airbrush gun is great for makeup and doing the details/shading of the body. (my opinion :) ) One think I do regret is that my unit can become cumbersome after trying to haul your pop up tent, equipment, etc. I recommend trying out several units (see if there are any spray tanners that will help in your area) before you buy. I have seen some that come in a built in, hard, rolling container. Those look ideal. In my opinion in a business like this its important to remember image is extremely important. Instead of making several trips to your vehicle, leaving your stuff in someones house unattended just doesn't have that "put" together appearance. I am putting my Ultra Mist in the salon and looking at a more compact, QUIET, unit. Hope that helps. |

Their units are Apollo units even though they called it something else and the solution colors are really pretty my clients rave about it. I also got their training which was really nice because I didn't realize how much I didn't know until I was told. They are also really helpful. I had so many questions when I first started and they were so patient with me (even after my 100th call)... |

I agree sunless has it's place but come on that kind of remark is uncalled for. |
