best sunless spray for BRIDES

I have everything I need for mobile sunless spray tans except the main "ingredient", the mist solution. I work mostly with brides and my first one is next week!!! I have been told that so many ones are so great, but I need one that a. doesn't smell, b. doesn't make you look orange, and c. (most important) doesn't rub off on the dress! Any suggestions? I have messed around a little with Jamaican Me, and really love the color and the fact that it doesn't smell, but am not sure if it will come off on a bride's dress. Does anyone have any experience working with spraying brides?? Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions!!! :0)

Re: best sunless spray for BRIDES

Common sense is to know that spray tans are what they say. A paint that lays on the skin and absorbs after about 6 to 8 hours. No matter what you have on, and no matter what the product claims. Any kind of rubbing or sweating can cause the solutions to rub off. So try to avoid doing the spray tan the day befor to help it penetrate further. You can also put them in a tanning booth if desired to help set it further. I have used AG for 5 years and have had wonderful results. I try to throw out the common sense of having a white shirt on and look at the collar at the end of the day. All products of any sorts can rub off. Just use common sense:)

Re: best sunless spray for BRIDES

airbrush tans are NOT paint! given the proper time to dry, they will NOT rub off. and if they are??? you really need to get a different solution.
check my profile here for a link to myspace page. then go to blogs, check f.a.q. , history ect. they are all very informative
make sure client exfoliates thoroughly before tan, and uses a maintainer every day after.
if anything is coming off on her clothes,, its skin!
need to exfoliate better, and use maintainer.

how did your client turn out?!

I prefer clear solutions for those who are going to be wearing formal gowns and white clothing (brides)

I am new to this site and am not into starting the bold lettering to make a point but agree as you have stated: "if anything is coming off on her clothes,,its skin!" Bingo--on that skin is the solution rubbed off. If there is a clear solution or one that last longer than the product I use, please share the name. I have been offerred by reps to try their products. Some reps have brought in a new spray system that offers the conditioning mist which is an awesome feature. But I had to use their solution. Tried the system and loved the smell but the quality of color washed away in two days. Again I am not trying to act as if I know it all,-- I don't~ And I am open for other feedback. This is a site to help one another find better avenues to build trust between client and self. Also, what type of maintainer do you use? Possibly this is a solution to help further the color. Also does it have a bronzer in it that is compatible with the solution used by all UV free spray products. I also agree with an in-depth consultation prior to spray tan and how to maintain them. An ounce of knowledge in our teaching can only offer a happier client.
