substitute 800w lamp for 1000w lamp

Can I use my 800w plugin lamp for a facial that asks for a 1000w lamp? Will it just burn the lamp faster?

Are they balloon style or the slender style?

Re: substitute 800w lamp for 1000w lamp

Yeah, they will work, but not for long. That unit is pretty intense & you could risk the lamp overheating, breaking & then possibly breaking the filter glass...

Could end up being an expensive substitute.
