Rep Power: 0 | Repairing an Ergoline main board Many of you have experienced the black spot on the ergoline boards, and at $1000 I'm going to try repairing mine first. I'm having trouble finding the exact resistor that I need to put in. Does anybody know a part number or something like that? Here is the one I THINK I need, but please correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...UCIZHH6w%3D%3D I have the problem (E102 code) isolated to just one of the resistors, but we are going to go ahead and replace them all just to be safe. Is there anything else we need to replace while we are in there? Thanks in advance! |

Rep Power: 17 | Re: Repairing an Ergoline main board I've taken mine to a tv repair place and they replaced the resisters for $100. I've had 2 repaired. But afraid to try them :) I have one new board as a spare too. 650's. |

If you can find it send me their number, might be worth a call at least. Thanks again! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Repairing an Ergoline main board I have repaired several with good success. I use one 54 ohm 1 or 2 watt resistors per run. I am lucky to have a surplus electronics store in Salt Lake City that buys surplus parts from local manufactures. I found a card of 20) 54 ohm resistors for $1. Also be sure to change out the capacitors. I have found many shorted and blowing up the resistors. Be careful not to disturb the surface mount diode. Check all work with a meter. |

Make that 54K or 54,000 ohm resisters. The computer ate the K. 54 ohm resistors will make a nice little explosion. | |
