He was a lot more than a "colorful" online character. He was a very helpful online character too. The contradiction of his schtick/sideshow on the boards that you may have noticed, to what he was like in person or on the phone, was an alarm bell for deeper issues that only a few knew about. |

Rep Power: 18 | Re: Brian Oshman has passed... Ljtan I find it so interesting that you and sunrise both attack my legitimate question. I simply wanted to know why Sunrise made the comment. My question has ZERO to do with Brian and 100% to do with why Sunrise made that comment. WHERE DO YOU SEE I ASKED WHAT GOOD WAS HE? Thats what YOU saw not what I said! You and sunrise RUSH to judgement and get all self righteous about my motives for asking a simply question. I simply wanted to know why Sunrise felt that way! WOW you 2 are so ugly! Lets assume for a perverted second that your judgement about my motives was somehow meant to degrade the dead is accurate? Brian's eternity is sealed. What I say and you say can change nothing. Accurate or false accolades/disparagements will have ZERO impact on Brian or his eternity. Brian could care a less. His family on the other hand is in need of healing and solace. You 2 pontificating to his unneeded defense was despicable. All sunrise had to so was list the reasons why. Specially why this board since I believe he made 90% or more of his posts on the other board? If Sunrise had said "He will be sadly missed on TT I wouldnt have questioned that comment at all. Its the "boards" comment which made me ask WHY? All you had to do was STOP once you answered my question. You both had a chance to eulogize Brian but no you just couldnt do that. You both had to pound your self righteous chests and show us all how big you are. You both just epitomized why these boards are all but useless to our industry and in fact do great harm to our industry. Last edited by Tony; 12-06-2014 at 11:49 PM. |

I should have asked "Why he will be missed on Tan Talk" since I hardly ever saw him post over here. Of course they could have asked me to clarify exactly what I meant by my question instead of reading the worst into my simple question and pouncing on me! Tanfix your answer is the type of answer i was looking for. I knew he had a big influence on the other site. Maybe i missed it over here but i just dont recall seeing him post much on Tan Talk! |

In the last year or so he has had very little involvement on any site. Obviously he had been suffering for something for a while. I cannot say I was a fan of Brian but he was too young to go and I certainly feel for his kids. I wish them well in this world! |

If you wanted you could do a search of his 3500 posts and see for yourself all the people he did help on this site. He will be missed. Last edited by sbt501; 12-08-2014 at 09:24 AM.

Rep Power: 19 | Re: Brian Oshman has passed... Tony, a member of our community has passed. People have paid him compliments. You then asked for qualification of those compliments. In the 14 or so years I have been on this and other forums, that was the most classless and tasteless thing I have ever seen. Wow just wow! I would now ask Robert or a mod to please move or remove this and all other comments in this thread involving Tony, so that we may simply wish Brian peace. According to the obituary posted, Brian had children, and I hate to think of them googling their father's name and finding these threads. Please moderators, have a heart... |

I think it would be nice for his kids to see many people wishing their father well. Tony's was the only negative post, and those responding to Tony. Last edited by kookyguy; 12-08-2014 at 01:49 PM.
