Sunstorm blower part identification/purpose - tanTALK

Hi all,

I took apart a blower motor and found this inside. I got the blower working however now the bed only turns on and doesn't lamp light. Not sure if this interrupts anything on the bed. Doesn't really look like it was hooked up at all lately, but not really sure where it mounts. Didn't see a mount hole or what not. Any info would be great.

Sounds like one of the safety switches if you are getting fans and no lights.

Yup, looks like part of a flag switch to me.

That flap sense's if the fan blower not working...shuts down bed if not spinning. As the blower spins, it makes the flap follow and keeps the circuit connected. Open flap, open circuit. Without it, bed sensing the blower not working.

Thanks guys, Now is there anyone who can tell me where exactly it's mounted? Doesn't really seem like i can take this fan apart without breaking welds. A picture for this idiot would be great lol
