Rep Power: 13 | dr muller orbit - "pop" then funny smell according to customer I just got a call from one of our workers and she said that a customer was tanning in our orbit when they heard a pop, and the bed shut off. Also they said they noticed a smell. Is there anything to look for? I'm on my way down there now but could use some help determining where to start. I know a couple of the facial buckets had shoddy grounds but I wouldn't think that would kick off the entire bed, also one of the ballasts was looking a little burnt around the connection points but again, from the the way it was described it was totally dead. I'm wondering if it could be the buck booster even Thanks in advance |

Bed still wasn't showing any signs of life. tested both legs at the internal breakers and was getting 120 on each but nothing between the 2. Turned out that the buck booster is fried. Swapped it out but i only had a +24v (last was +36 and our mains voltage is crap) so now it works but not all the lamps kick on. Beats having to pull apart the ballast tray i suppose |
