Question Wolff Series IV 424sl...with Genesis H418 120W Lamps ??

We just bought a new tanning bed from a lady who purchased it from an old salon she put new lamps in it but never used it. The thing is we have laid in it two times and I have been tanning somewhere else previously but this used bed we bought burnt me bad and I only laid in it 15 minutes and have been used to laying in other beds for 20 minutes! My boyfriend and I were shocked so we looked to see what kind of lamps were in it. The tanning bed is a Wolff 424sl series IV 24 bulbs but the lamps are Genesis H418 120W RDCF73 ... we are a little concerned because we can not find anything out about these lamps online we cant even find anyone who sales them. Has anyone ever heard of them and are they ok to use in this bed ? Because I did some reading up on this tanning bed and it says normally they use 100W and like I said the lamps are 120W ? Any info at all would be great!! I want to be able to enjoy this tanning bed!!

Re: Wolff Series IV 424sl...with Genesis H418 120W Lamps ??

The lamps are just high B burners. The wattage is irrelevent. The ballast determines the wattage. The UVB output is high so it is going to burn you easily. You may just want to swap out the lamps for something better.
