Ergo 650 Classic E040.... help?

Just out of the blue, my 650 turns off after exactly 17 seconds, every time, displaying error code E040.

Is there some kind of easy fix on this one?

I know it's fan-related, but I can't get a list of specific error codes anyplace. Even on the JK sites I've been looking through. I mean really?

So if anyone can offer assistance, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Oh, I did that, I should have specified that I eventually found out what the specific error code meant, but I was on my blackberry, very difficult to post on this site from it.
Just wondering if its a simple relay replace, or some kind of reset? If it's a bad part I will just have to replace it. But I hate such a nice bed being down during this great time.

Re: Ergo 650 Classic E040.... help?

The airflow switch on the left side of the main fan is not closing when the fan starts. This tells the bed that the fan is running. If the switch does not close then the bed shuts off so it doesn't melt down.

Make sure that the paddle isn't bent or missing and make sure it clicks when pushed in. Also, make sure that one of the cables is not holding it out. That is a simple fix.

Re: Ergo 650 Classic E040.... help?

Had my maintenance guy in today while I wasn't able to get into the store. He fixed it, but I'm gonna open it up tomorrow to take a look at the flap.

Thanks for the help, too.
