But it does randomly give me the error code 0040 after the 17 second mark, if I run the bed for a couple minutes in the morning it will work fine the rest of the day. I fine the fan starts out slow in the morning when bed is cold so assuming that is find the switch doesn't get sucked in, how do I make program fan to run harder at start of session every time? |

The fan is thermostatically controlled and will speed up with room temp so in a cold environment the lamps will still reach operating temp at a set rate. There is no adjustment. Make the room warmer at the start of the day or just warm up the bed. |

Here's another thing I've found. the slow start (170 volts) on the cooling fan may not move enough air to pull the switch in if the squirrel cage vanes are plugged with lint. I started cleaning them as I found them but now every year I climb in with a vacuum hose and thin long screw driver and scrap each vane with a vacuum hose sucking up the crud. I wish I had a better way to do it but I haven't found it. |
